Will they ever learn?

This year I got my first pregnant student. But wait, there's more. This year doesn't just mark a first, but a career high. I now have three students who will be needing maternity leave soon. Is there something in the water? Seriously, I had one and then the girl next to her got pregnant. And now the third girl, who is actually in a different class, but sits in the same seat as the first.

Maybe I could use this to my advantage. You know, scare the kids into learning. Like I could say in a low, cautionary voice, "That's what happens when you only read the Cliff Notes." Now only if impotency was as evident, then I could take care of the boys' study habits.
