These Teachers Today

Today was a typical day. There were people talking, then they were sleeping. Others were doing work for something else. Cell phones were going off. Headphones were out. There had to be at least thirty magazines being read during instruction. I even saw one scribbling on a desk, "Your mom is collaborative learning."

Oh, what? Did you think that I was talking about my students? No, I was referring to the teachers during our after school faculty meeting. Talk about not practicing what you preach. I'm pretty sure I heard one teacher say, "When am I ever going to use end of the year procedures in the real world?"
