Throat Culture

Not to long ago I had twittered about one of the girls at my school having LOVE tattooed on her throat—not the neck, but the throat.

I can’t stop thinking about it because I have two questions that have gone unanswered. The first one is if you choose the throat, then why not the, say, forehead? I mean she didn’t go, “The forehead is ridiculous. I know. Let’s just do the throat.”

Perhaps it’s symbolic. If so, then that brings me to my second question. What’s the significance? What does she love so much that she would advertise there? Talking? Singing? Scarfs? Choking people?

It’s that last possibility that keeps me from asking.
