A Pain In The Gas

I had one of those parent/teacher meetings yesterday. It was one of those big ones where all the teachers are there, along with an administrator and counselor. I won’t go into all the details. Just know she held everyone accountable except for the kid. That’s a big surprise, right?

I will share my favorite part though. It was when the parent said, “I’m here to get some answers. I spent gas money!”

Really? Gas money? Do you know who else spent money on gas today? The globe—the planet spent gas money today.

I can’t wait until we go green with these biofuels. Then I’ll be able to hear, “I’m here to get answers. I spent corn money!”
