Nursery School

The school’s nurse has sent out a reminded that we should not send students to the clinic unless it is an emergency.

Um, what is an emergency and what part of my education degree qualifies me for triage? No, being safe than sorry is the name of the game for me. If a kid doesn’t want to do English, then they just don’t do anything. They don’t go through elaborate schemes to get out of reading. So if they make the effort to come to me and tell me that they aren’t feeling well, then that’s emergency enough for me. I’m not going to be the hot zone for any epidemics.

So let’s just agree that you won’t hold me too this emergency idea, and I won’t keep you from sending kids back to my class until they can find three examples of Romantic elements in William Cullen Bryant’s Thanatopsis.
