Against the Grade
Grades are due today.
At 2:00.
School gets out at 3:00.
Haven’t we been through this before?
As if that isn’t obnoxious enough, I have to make sure grades are in the computer, the green sheets have to be signed in red pen, turned into the assistant principal (she’s on campus today?) to initial who will be in the library from noon to 1:00 (while I’m teaching), and then re-verified by Monday morning. At 8:30.
Hey if you ever feel not so appreciated as a teacher, then just call in sick on grade day. The day you get back, everyone wants to talk to you.
