Testing. Testing. Is this thing on?

So they’re pulling out the kids from my class who failed the state standardized exit exam left and right. As a result, I’ve got kids missing a ton of class time. Now I’m not saying missing my class is going to result in the failure of launching the next generation’s doctors and poets, but this test that they’ll never see again can’t have a larger impact than me, right?

All I’m saying is let’s not go overboard with this thing. Let’s have some balance. I mean, a boxer doesn’t stop working on his footwork so he can focus on taking a punch.
