All Boarded Up
This week is School Board Appreciation Week where we are encouraged to show acts of gratitude towards our board members. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t they run for those positions? Wasn’t election day recognition enough?
One of the suggestions provided by Pécan to show how you feel is to invite members to your classroom for a visit. I’m all for that, especially now I’m rockin’ the 36-student rosters (Yeah building bigger schools and decreasing staff!). That way they would know what I meant when I thanked them for establishing a vision where I can do the impossible.
