What's in a name?
I've got to give it to this generation's parents. They've given us some pretty fun names. My class rosters look like the cast of the teletubbies. I call their names and I feel like I should be shaking a cat toy.
Ting-a-Ling-a-Ling.
Fu Fu.
Ting-a-Ling-a-Ling.
Cinnamon. It's English time.
I've also got students named Peace and Serenity. Serenity has already missed a day of school, so I had to ask, "Has anyone seen Serenity?"
"That's deep," quipped a student.
Again, it's fun. This job gets boring at times, so it adds some flavor.
