Co-pay all the way!

I had a teacher tell me to, "suck on it," at a meeting today. Were we arguing on proper teaching methods and things just got out of hand? No. It had nothing to do with the literary merit of Steinbeck either. We were in a meeting about our new health insurance carrier and discovered that the new co-pay would no longer be based on age. That's when a teacher (about fifteen years older) sprung up, pointed at my table (consisting of teachers roughly my age) and told us to suck on whatever "it" was.

It's funny what money can do to us. This was a woman that recited "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" to her kiddies just last week. I heard that two of the students cried. Yeah--suck on some Angelou.
